To date, the Hollow Tree Players have donated over $40,000 to organizations such as:
Autism Speaks
Heart Association
Diabetes Research
Food Banks
Libraries and schools
Christian Charties
The Hollow Tree Players believe in the importance of the arts for today's children and believe that theater is one of the primary ways children learn about life. It engages the imagination, presents a virtual reality of a far away land and stimulates creativity. Children can be transported into another era and experience sights and situations that are limitless. Through this virtual experience, educators have an opportunity to integrate the children's theater experience into various lessons throughout their curriculum. History, writing, reading, social studies, art and even math can be enhanced from this experience.
